Event Overview
The largest independent eProcurement conference in the region.
The strategic drivers for investing in eProcurement technology and digital transformation have broadened since the pandemic.
Today they include not just becoming more efficient but streamlining the user experience, but also reducing risk, incorporating Covid business continuity lessons, building compliance and addressing a wider range of procurement objectives such as ESG, quite particularly.
So, on the face of it, developing a business case would seem easier. Yet this is rarely the case. Previous investment curves, limited budgets and post-covid restrictions mean most business cases for digital transformation or eProcurement projects struggle to fly – at least at first.
So, where are we going so wrong? What makes a good business case for eProcurement? How do we get it right, learn the lessons of the past and also capture the opportunities of fast innovation in IT and changing USER needs as well? And, then, implement without drama?

Hosted Buyer.
As was successfully implemented at previous ProcureTECH events, ProcureTECH 2023 (virtual) will adopt a ‘hosted buyer’ model, whereby buyer delegates can attend free of charge.
In order to qualify for the hosted buyer programme, delegates must commit to conducting a minimum of four pre-scheduled meetings with participating technology suppliers.
These pre-scheduled meetings can be conducted while the main conference programme is in progress, or outside of the main programme.
The meetings will be organised using our online meetings scheduling service. A couple of weeks before the event, delegates will be provided access to the system, allowing them to start scheduling meetings that best fit with those sessions they particularly wish to attend.
Event Programme.
ProcureTECH is the region’s largest independent event specifically focussed on eProcurement technologies that directly enable and assist the procurement function.
The 2023 programme addresses the key challenges most procurement teams face when making the business case, selecting and implementing the right solutions for them.
“I learnt a lot about procurement software and things to consider when considering which procurement system to roll out, including what the marketplace has to offer. The presentations were interesting and the conference technology (Remo) made it easy to navigate.“

Reasons to attend
Adoption of the right technologies has long been recognised as one of the three key pillars for building procurement capability – the others being ‘people’ and ‘process’. An argument is often made that increasingly technology and process are increasingly inseparable.
By attending ProcureTECH you will not only have the chance to explore what new technologies and innovations are now available, and what they can do for you, but also accelerate your understanding of the key issues involved in:
- Identifying the true business problems you are looking to solve through technology
- Scoping your technology needs more tightly
- Building a stronger business case for technology adoption
- Viewing new technology solutions in the technology showcase
- Selecting appropriate technologies
- Implementing new technology and IT strategies
- Integrating with existing legacy systems
- Network, share and connect with others in similar positions
